What is healthy eating?

Healthy eating is essential to your health and well being. In your great grandparents’ days, healthy eating was easy. Food was grown on nutrient rich soil without herbicides and pesticides. It was whole, natural and unprocessed. Meals, breads and desserts were cooked or baked in the home from scratch, not produced in a laboratory from chemicals not intended for human consumption.

Times have changed! With our fast-paced lifestyles, we don’t have time to devote hours or entire days to preparing healthy meals to nourish our families and ourselves. But are we really doing ourselves a favor by eating highly processed food, laden with sugar, in many forms, and filled with chemicals we can’t pronounce, much less know want they are and what they are doing to our insides?

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be hard or excessively time consuming. With a little knowledge, you can be choosing delicious healthy foods and on your way to a healthier body in no time at all.

My friend Dr. Farlow is offering you a Free Healthy Eating E-Class. It will help you get yourself on the fast track to healthy eating in 5 simple lessons. You will learn how to protect yourself from hidden cancer-causing chemicals in the foods you buy and shield your family from the dozens of toxic pesticides on your fruits and vegetables. You won’t be forced to eat foods you don’t like. You’ll get to choose healthy foods you like and get yourself on a healthy eating program at your own pace.

Radish N’ Sprout

Here is one if you are looking to try something different with a bit of a kick.  You can substitute a bunch of radish sprouts for the radish.  Just remember to go easy on the radish… you can easily over do it and end up with a concoction you don’t want to drink.  Better to ramp up slowly on this one!

1 radish (small)
5  carrots
1/2 green or red pepper

Wash sprouts, carrots, and peppers thoroughly.  Trim tips of carrots and juice away!

Healing morgellon’s disease — with juicing?

I received this story a couple weeks ago and asked for permission to share it with you.

Hi Dave,

I have morgellon’s syndrome or disease and have gone to dermatologists but they thought it was just stress. I have or had these sores and lesions on my left side of my body. About 5 weeks ago I found your website and started juicing daily.

I usually do about 7 carrotts, 2 lemons, 1 lime, 1/2 beet, a few red grapes, 2 oranges, 1 apple, sometimes spinach or cucumbers or whatever greens I have available.

I have lost 20 pds. and need to lose a lot more—-about 80 more. Anyway the sores and lesions have started healing and I have found fewer and fewer fibers under my skin. I hope that it cures my disease but it may just be in remission, but I plan to continue to juice—-it seems as if my body craves it now.

I feel better and can think clearer—–my memory is still suffering but I keep praying that God will heal my body.
Thanks for having your website and I am excited about it and have shared with some friends……

Diann

We all wish Diann the best with her Morgellons syndrome .  Let’s hope that it continues to clear up.  No matter what you are definitely feeling the benefits of having all that fresh juice in your body.  How can you go wrong!

3 Powerful Juice Fasting Tips That Will Detox Your Body

3 Powerful Juice Fasting Tips That Will Detox Your Body, Increase Your Energy, And Help You To Lose Excess Belly Fat .

by Dr. Charles Livingston

Juice Fasting is one of the absolute best ways to shed weight quickly. If you have an important event that you want to look good for, such as a high school reunion, a dinner party, this is a great thing to do! Done properly, it is easy to lose 5-10lbs in a week or less as well as inches off of your waistline and belly. Another great advantage is that juice fasting will start cleaning your body from the inside out. When you flood your body with nutrients, it kicks off a detox process that pulls toxins out of your body and heals damaged tissue. Hundreds of thousands of people do juice fasts consistently to stay healthy, lose weight, and boost their energy levels. Here are some tips that will help you.

Tip #1: Always start any juice fast by focusing on the juices themselves. Make sure that you use fresh, raw fruits and veggies and not powdered fruits and veggies. These can be beneficial for your health, but they aren’t nearly as effective as real, raw fruits and vegetables.

Tip #2: Don’t believe it when people tell you to stay away from fruit juices during your fast! Fruits contain many forms of nutrition that are incredibly important to your health. It is true that too much of a juice, particularly an acidic one like orange juice, can upset the stomach. Rather than avoiding such fruits, you should simply take them in moderation. A popular method is to water them down with more balanced fruit juices or even with actual water. In fact, it’s not a bad idea to dilute ALL your juices with fifty percent water, just to make them easier on the stomach. At the same time, you shouldn’t believe sources that claim that fruits are all your body needs. Just as many important vitamins are found in vegetables. Pretty much any vegetable you can eat raw can be turned into juice (and don’t confuse this process with using a blender). The best ones to take to balance out your fruit juices are carrot juice (a leading source of carotene), beet juice, and cucumber juice.

Tip #3: Don’t eat any one fruit or vegetable constantly. Instead, rotate them around a bit. Make sure you’re getting good variety. No one plant will ever have all the things your body needs in it, but most will be high in one or two crucial vitamins and other nutrients. Beets are high in folate, which is especially important in liver health. Apples contain many antioxidants, but are low in vitamin C, which you can find in oranges instead. As you can see, variety truly is the spice of life when it comes to juice fasts!

There are thousands of basic juice-based fasting methods out there. Some good, some bad, but the bottom line is this: if you are juicing fresh, raw fruits and veggies, you are going to feel better, have more energy, and lose weight. In this article, we’re going to tell you which kinds of juice fasts will really keep your body purified, detoxed and primed for weight loss all at the same time.
